Our Story

Wild started as a vision of a simpler, more traditional approach to crafting cider. We deeply love the Annapolis Valley, and we wanted a way to bottle up its natural character and diversity for anyone to taste.

Our Process

We value the complexity of nature. Each autumn, we pick, press and vinify apples harvested from our estate orchard and select orchards throughout the Annapolis Valley.

The result is clear, crisp and interesting.

The Cidery

Our cidery at Boars Back is a labour of passion. We live and work right on site, sunup until sundown. We’ve just installed a new press and we’re expanding operations to broaden the area we serve. Look out for new Wild ciders in the coming months. We’ve got a lot in the hopper.

Founded Locally

Bryan Lee grew up on Boars Back Mountain.

He knows these woods, and he’s walked the orchards of the Annapolis Valley countless times. His family has been tending the land for decades.

He has an impeccable palate for apple quality, and an astonishing ability to feel out the process of crafting cider. He’s out there sampling these apples all season long. Literally feeling the soil and trees, spotting the most brilliant cider candidates.
